Last Sunday Thomaz, who edits my videos, sent me a photo of the cookies he made at home. I already said on my Instagram that Thom is the cookie master on the team. Six years ago I gave him a cookie recipe for our Christmas get-together and everyone loved it, since then he is always obliged to make cookies at the end of the year.
And now with everyone in isolation he made the cookies and a lot of people sent messages asking him to make a delivery. ; D
I think it is an excellent recipe for this moment, to make at home and eat with the family (or even alone), so I decided to share it with you.
We also take the opportunity to heat the oven for when my Recipes Book arrives!
Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter
120g granulated sugar
85g brown sugar
1 egg
240g cake flour
2 pinches of salt
1 tablespoon of orange juice (optional)
Orange zests
5g baking powder
180g chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
Method:
In the stand mixer bowl, whip the butter (in paste consistency) with both sugars until light. Add the egg, the spoon of Orange juice, the zests, and whip more. Add all sifted dry ingredients stirring with a spatula. Add the chocolate, being careful not to overmix it.
